Mileage Survey

The CDNA has for many years tried to address the issue of mileage payments. We had hoped and had been promised that the issue would be address under the new terms and conditions of the Agenda for Change programme however as yet this has not happen.

Now we are facing changes to the way the Interaction between company car tax,tax free mileage allowances and employee car ownership schemes. Even if this is being directed towards those in the private sector we will yet again be penalised as the Tax fail to understand that our mileage money is a repayment for money already spent and that we are subsidising the NHS.

The CDNA has already submitted a formal response to the Government earlier in January 2007 but we wish to continue to build an extensive members response database on the issue to assist our on going campaign on the issue.
